OUR HISTORY AND OPERATIONS

The company was found in 1998 as a sole proprietorship and established as Chanaka Metal (Pvt) Ltd in 2003 by Mr . Rohana priya Upul and Mrs. Chithra Sumanaseeli. Since 2017 we are incorporated in the field under the name of Aarking Engineering (Pvt).Ltd. By the time the company was established it was only involved as a rock boulder supplier for maritime construction projects. Initially in 2001 small scale construction projects were undertaken as a side-breaking business. Later in 2006 construction became the main sources of our income.

Today, with hard work and dedications we have expanded our company into a CIDA registered C2 graded contractor for maritime, road and irrigation projects as well as a permitted rock material supplier. Due to our expertise knowledge and innovative implementation we have derived ourselves to stand amongst the top five maritime contractors of the country. Moreover our operations as a rock material supplier for island wide construction projects; we have provided a significant support for the developments in rural areas.

From Southern province to Northern Province with a skilled labours force, carefully supervised technical team, well experienced staff with engineers and managers, our prime attempt is to support facilitating the emerging infrastructure needs of our territory.

As the co-founder of the company, I had the greatest privilege of standing behind the rapid success of the company and its stakeholders. Giving life for our point of view, we were able to gather a valuable chain of retaining clients and a team of self-satisfied employees. Each year we improved our engineering practice with emerging technological support, experience and knowledge from industry giants.

Today Aarking engineering has defined itself as an innovative, accurate civil engineering solution provider with its ethical and unique performance. We believe that our employees and their courage is the back bone of our company and they are the main cause that drives us forward. Therefore we are glad that we had the opportunity to help each of our employees achieve their expectations throughout the past two decade while maintaining loyal long term relationships with other key stakeholders as well.
